The first session of the #Balsam6 program “Child Friendly Spaces” was conducted this week. Through ice-breaking activities, 50 girls and boys got to know each other and integrated into their new safe space in which they were involved in setting rules for this space.
Balsam is a program launched by the Charity Association for Sustainable Development CSSD in 2019 to provide psychological and social support to children.
Many activities and educational materials will be waiting for the children with the aim to support their mental health, and enhancing their sense of safety and belonging to their new space (Balsam 6), which will provide them with a safe haven for play, joy, and creative activities.
